Special Olympics & Unified Sports
Inclusion Through Competition
At Madonna Ability Alliance, we believe athletics should be open to everyone. Through Special Olympics Traditional and Unified Sports, our students and adults participate in competitive athletics and activities that celebrate ability, foster inclusion, and build pride.
Special Olympics Traditional Sports
Madonna athletes compete in a variety of sports through Special Olympics Nebraska. These events bring together athletes of all abilities to train, compete, and showcase their skills.
Special Olympics fosters discipline, determination, and joy, both on and off the field.
Traditional Sports include:
- Powerlifting
- Swimming
- Track
Traditional Special Olympics athletes compete in divisions based on age, gender, and ability level to create the most meaningful competitive experience possible.
