At Madonna Ability Alliance, we understand the life journey with a loved one with intellectual and developmental disabilities is filled with great joy, some real obstacles, and many questions. Families need more than just programs for their loved ones. They need guidance, resources, and support to navigate a wonderful but complex network of resources. 


That’s why we offer Family Supports, a suite of services designed to walk alongside parents, caregivers, and families as they seek a positive present and vibrant future for their loved ones.

Benefits Navigation

Navigating the maze of benefits and services can feel overwhelming. Our Benefits Navigation program provides families with expert, compassionate guidance to ensure they understand and access every resource available to them. 

One-on-One Consultation

Families meet with a trained navigator to review their unique situation and needs.

Eligibility Guidance

Clear explanations of what services exist, who qualifies, and how to apply.

Application Assistance

Hands-on help with filling our paperwork, submitting applications, and tracking progress.

Renewals & Adjustments

Ongoing support as participant/family circumstances or eligibility requirements change.

Community Connections

Linking families to trusted local and state resources, private funding sources, and/or peer groups.

Why it Matters:

Too often, families go without services because the process is confusing. Benefits Navigation ensures that no one is left behind simply because of red tape.

Family Waiver Support

Medicaid waivers are a lifeline for many families, covering services that help individuals with disabilities live more independently and with dignity. However, the application and maintenance process can be daunting. 


Our Family Waiver Support team helps families successfully apply for, manage, and maintain waiver benefits. 

Services Provided

  • Guidance in understanding different types of waivers and their requirements
  • Help preparing and submitting waiver application
  • Support navigating long waitlists and planning ahead
  • Assistance with renewals, compliance paperwork, and program changes
  • Direct connections to trusted agencies and case managers

Waivers often provide access to critical supports such as therapies, residential care, employment services, and day programs. Family Waiver Support ensures families don’t miss out on life-changing opportunities due to confusing systems or paperwork delays.

Seeds Ministry

Sacrament Preparation for Diverse Learners

Seeds Ministry provides support and catechesis for students and adults with diverse learning needs who have not yet received the Catholic sacraments. The Seeds of Faith have been planted and nurtured by their caregivers but may need extra help to blossom in full communion within their parish communities. 


Seeds Ministry aims to meet the needs of these special individuals by partnering with families and parish staff to bring their sacraments to completion.
