About Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH is a nationally renowned internship-to-employment program designed for young adults with IDD & ASD. Madonna’s Project SEARCH on the campus of UNMC/Nebraska Medicine equips students with the real-world skills, direct work experience, and the confidence they need to move successfully into the competitive workforce.
How Project SEARCH Works
Project SEARCH follows a 9-month internship model, where students spend an academic year fully immersed in workplace settings. Participants rotate through multiple job sites, gaining a variety of skills and experiences while supported by job coaches and educators.
