Elementary Program
A Strong Start for Lifelong Success
Offered in partnership with Holy Name, St. Pius X/St. Leo, and St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Schools, Madonna's Inclusive Education Program serves students in grades PK-8. Through this innovative partnership students with IDD & ASD are provided with a full suite of individualized supports while learning side-by-side with their siblings, friends, and peers!
Personalized Learning Guided by Individualized Plans
Our Inclusive Elementary Program provides personalized learning in a faith-based environment where students in grades PK-8 build the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual foundations they need for success in school and in life. Instruction is driven by the Individual Student Plan (ISP). Working as a team and in close collaboration with families, Madonna experts, partner school special educators, and related service providers help each student meet their ISP goals and thrive as fully included members of their school community.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to some of our most common special education questions.
How Do Our Elementary Partnerships Work?
- Students enroll in and attend a partner school.
- Partner schools recruit, hire, develop and oversee Classroom Teachers and Special Educators who provide students with high quality core instruction and special education services in their least restrictive environment.
- Madonna Special Education experts provide partner schools with program oversight, professional/development training, and ongoing coaching & consultation for Administrators, Classroom Teachers, and Special Educators.
- Madonna funds all related services for students served by the program and helps fund Special Education Teachers and Teacher Assistants.
How Do We Serve Students?
- Inclusive Education begins with established research that show education in the least restrictive environment is best for all students. Students in the program are served in the general education environment as appropriate and provided with push-in and pull-out supports as needed.
- Services for each student are documented in their Individual Student Plan (ISP). The ISP is developed collaboratively with special educators, classroom teachers, program staff, related service providers, and each family, resulting in a unique set of student goals and interventions. A student’s ISP goals help determine levels of inclusion and define push-in/pull-out supports as well as minutes for related-services such as Speech, OT, PT, Psych, etc.
Who Do We Serve?
- Madonna supports students with mild to moderate IDD & ASD who thrive in small group and whole group learning environments.
- Though each student Madonna serves requires some 1:1 support each week, Madonna is not resourced to support students who require consistent and ongoing 1:1 support due to behavioral or health needs.
- The program serves students privately placed by their families, as well as students contracted into Madonna's services by their local public school district. Madonna is as an approved SPED Service Provider with the Nebraska Department of Education.
