Residential Services at Madonna Ability Alliance provide adults with IDD & ASD with the right level of support to maximize their autonomy and independence in their home, neighborhood, and local community.
Residential Support Options
Because every person’s goals are unique, we work with individuals 1:1 in their home setting
Supported Family Living
SFL provides 1:1 habilitation and support for an individual who lives in their family home
Independent Living
IL provides 1:1 habilitation and support for an individual who lives independently in their own apartment or home
What's Included
Support is tailored to each participant's plan and may include:
Daily Living
Weekly planning, daily schedules, household chores including cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry
Nutrition
Meal planning, budgeting, comparative shopping, food preparation, cooking, and food storage
Wellness
Exercise, personal care routines, recreation and leisure activities
Community
Explore the community, discover key resources, and develop personal interests
with social appropriateness
Transportation
Map key local resources such as stores, library, hospital and other services; and train on bus routes, Moby, and other rideshare services.
Safety, Quality, and Care
Our team follows individualized service plans with regular reviews and close communication with families. Staff members are trained to support health, safety, and social appropriateness in a respectful, person-centered manner.
Friendship, Faith, and Community
Life at home is about more than tasks; it's about belonging. Our team works with participants to actively participate in their homes, neighborhoods, community centers, cultural outings, and churches. We know life is more than following a schedule; it's about building relationships and living with purpose.
Family Partnership
We collaborate with families and guardians from the first conversation on. Our team is trained to not only work with the individual but their entire support network to ensure meaningful activities are in place to reach important, attainable life goals.
