Employment is a powerful path to independence, pride, and belonging. Madonna Ability Alliance’s Employment Services connect adults with IDD and ASD to meaningful jobs at businesses across the community and provide the training and job coaching needed to thrive in the workplace. 

What We Offer

Madonna Ability Alliance offers Supported Employment as a certified Nebraska VR and Nebraska DD provider. Our team partners with each individual to develop a personalized employment plan and deliver the support they need to help their employment goal become reality.

Discovery & Career Planning

Explore the world of work, research career fields, and visit work sites. Identify strengths, interests, and workplace preferences that will streamline the job search.

Job Development & Matching

Build resumes, cover letters, and job applications. Run mock interviews. Coordinate interviews with employers and match candidates with roles that fit their goals. 


On-the-Job Coaching

Provide employees with individualized training during onboarding and early employment. Help parents and guardians build effective relationships with the business. 

Retention & Advancement

Ongoing job coaching to support long-term success. Regular check-ins, problem-solving, and skill-building. Support self-advocacy regarding schedule, hours, duties. Encourage professional development and training to help the employee continuously improve and advance.   

Employer Partnership

Collaborate with business on natural supports, task design, and inclusive practices. Assist businesses in communication with the employee and their support network. Provide ongoing problem-solving and support to the business as needed.
